investigation The following investigations are done at New Diagnostic Centre :

IVP (Intravenous Pyelogram) : It is an x-ray examination of the kidneys, ureters and urinary bladder that uses iodinated contrast material injected into veins.

Preparation for IVP

  • Empty stomach
  • Bowel preparation-Contact the clinic staff for instructions
  • Prior appointments necessary

Barium Studies:These are the diagnostic tests which are used to detect abnormalities of the esophagus, stomach and bowels using X-ray imaging.

  • Barium Swallow
  • Barium Meal
  • Barium Enema
  • Barium Meal Follow-Through
